Had to cover Discovery station at Bible Camp while Mom dealt with snacks
Background:
All week Mom and i been helping at Bible Camp. Mom is the "room leader" and tried to lead the experiment in/around the kitchen area. Mostly my job this week was to make juice. And since this year we didn't have a big group snack time, I also had to deliver juice to the leaders of Storytime; arts and crafts; and recreation stations. A couple of times Mom had to go to the store to either buy milk (Wed) or buy more yeast (yesterday) and I'm worrying about what do I do if the first group kids came up before Mom came back? Normally we go to the park on Fridays of Bible Camp but this year we didn't.
Story
So because we didn't go to the park Mom had to be inside to deal with snacks. Which meant I was stuck outside on my own trying to lead the Bubble station (not that many kids did it) trying to make bubbles with the sticks, string and bubble solution. I was kind of worried because I don't normally lead the Discovery area -Mom does. The only way I was able to deal with it was pretending I was in the Nursery Nurse covering a room for another character. But I much rather have been inside and making juice for lunch time.
@Disneywoman
I understand it was unfamiliar but I'm proud of you that you got through it and did a great job 🥰
@Amanda84 I much rather have been outside since Mom's the room leader and should have been doing that, not me. It killed my back trying to stand for a while trying to figure out how to make bubbles. I did also sit for awhile after I took a chair out. But I much rather have been inside-Mom should have been the one doing the Discover station
