Hate

Hate is such a negative word to me. But what makes it even worse is that I've been feeling this really deep hate for my family, especially for my mom and my brother. They never try to understand but at the same time they always would want to be understood.

Is it okay to hate someone you used to care for so much? All these negative emotions, this anxiety are coming from them. Is it okay for me to want to forget and just leave them?

Hiya @diplomaticHemlock964 welcome to the community!

Feelings of anger and resentment are completely natural in situations where you feel unheard or misunderstood.

Sometimes the one always understanding gets tired of always understanding others too, and it's only human of you to want to be understood or at least be considered, by these people also.

It is certainly important to explore why these feelings have grown into hate, it is indeed a big word, and I'm proud of you for trying to explore your feelings more!

It most definitely is okay to feel tired at times and need a break from any environments/ people that affect your wellbeing!

How do you feel about establishing some emotional boundaries with your family? You deserve to feel valued and respected also. 💛
