Help, I don’t know what to do
Hi, I need advice.
Whenever me and my partner have an argument, he threatens me that I need to leave in the morning. Since I’m staying with him and his parents, this is not my home.
For instance, he told me he had been staying up late texting another girl who is his friend as of a few months, she is married. I had a problem as personally I don’t think we should be staying up late for the opposite gender. I would be more comfortable if it was a guy.
When I brought this up he said I was overreacting, that I have no trust. I tried to help him understand why I thought it was wrong, he said I would have to leave in the morning.
Me made up but then again we had another conflict and he is threatening to cancel a holiday booking we have just made.
I feel like I’m not allowed to express myself
I just told him why I cried at Christmas when his mum accidentally said ‘will you be going back to your dads’ ( my dad left when I was 4) and he said I ruined Christmas because of how I cried and left the table because of that. He said I need to learn to control my emotions. Will I cry when we have kids ect.
I’m just quite unhappy.
I went to ChatGPT for advice and I showed him and he told me that chat gpt is bias and he just laughed.

*Comforts zographia* It sounds like you are in a very difficult position at the moment, and I am sorry that your partner is not providing you with the sort of reassurance and support that one would expect. Your feelings are completely valid and should not be belittled, nor is it right to be emotionally blackmailed into conformity. Threatening to throw you out because you have an argument is not right. You do not deserve to be treated cruelly or manipulatively.
From what you have said, it sounds like this has been going on for quite some time, and that you have made multiple attempts to try to show your partner how you feel, and that such attempts have been rebuffed or ignored. It is clear from how you have said things that you feel very supressed and this naturally has you very upset. I do not know the intricacies of your situation, nor would I presume to know what course of action would be best for you. Only you can know what will ultimately make you happy. Love has to have a strong base in mutual respect to flourish. It sounds like you are trying your best to establish a dialogue with your partner, but at some point you may have to consider difficult decisions. If things will not change, and if love and respect is absent, perhaps you may have to consider what your options are. I understand it may be especially challenging if it also affects where you live, but you cannot continue to be unhappy perpetually, nor should you have to.
I am so sorry you are not being shown the love you deserve. I hope things work out for you and your partner. And if hard choices need to be made, I wish you the strength and resilience to get you through them. *sending you soothing vibes to give you that little bit of support should you need it*
