How can u make the step of break up with confidence? I love him so much but he is not fighting for me anymore.

Doing anything with confidence IMO is doing it for yourself. It is not about him it is about you. every time you fall back to saying you want to break up but do not follow thru is teaching your partner it is OK to not respect you/ fight for you or be accountable in the relationship.
Breaking up is not a tool to use to try to get them to change but a should be a life line for you to get out of a situation.
