How do you go about feeling hopeless in your marriage and then loving them again ? i love him but since our daughter was born things have shifted. Its like we both dont understand each other anymore and dont want to be even near each other. Sometimes we feel so much love for each other and the next moment its all shouting and crying.

I dont know how to deal with this

You don’t have to choose between hopelessness and love; both can coexist when you’re exhausted and adjusting. Be gentle with yourselves; this season is heavier than most couples talk about. Many couples feel lost after a child is born, but lost doesn’t mean over. You’re in a transition, not a failure.

Having a child is a big change and there will be more changes in your life. talking about it with your partner IMO is better than hoping or waiting it out. I tried going along and we had good days and some not so good but talking about it now many years later we both see we did not understand what each of us was going thru.

This sounds like stress of everything is taking over parenting, lack of sleep, likely money/ work, and the house needs cleaning etc.

Find a way to get out as a couple even taking a walk and both of you reaching to hold hands there needs to be small physical connections from both of you then you will get past the other stuff
