How do you say /do it?
I’ve been seeing someone for the last two years. In my eyes she’s fantastic and I would love to be with her for the long term. We both agree that we are not looking to remarry nor do we think or even talk about moving in together. The biggest challenge I have is she doesn’t see what we have together the same way I do. She’s not looking for a serious commitment nor a long term relationship. She’s more than happy to be just friends with benefits.
I’d be okay with just a step in between that and a committed relationship but the reality of it is she just wants to be friends.
I am sadly accepting the reality of this and think I need to let her go and let her move on. It’s just that every time I decide to talk to her about letting go of her, I freeze up and say nothing. I just can’t bring myself to do it although I know it needs to be done.

There is no one way to say it. just something like you are both looking for something different.
You want more then she is willing to offer so it is only fair for you both to be happy. Once it is said out loud and firm she may change her mind a bit or at least reevaluate her wants and needs.
