How patient is too patient?
My SO recently flew out of country to visit their mom for the first time since before COVID. We unfortunately had a pregnancy scare and were pretty stressed just before they left.
About 2 weeks into vacation, their texts started becoming dryer and they stopped saying “I love you”.
this went on until week 4 when I pointed it out and tried to see if there was anything I could do to help. They replied saying they needed space and time bc of what we went through recently. How much time is reasonable to give someone and wait in hopes that they say they love me again? I haven’t felt loved for awhile now
@EnjoyingEmptiness Hi, thanks for sharing this. That sounds like a really tough situation. I can hear how you are feeling unloved by his lack of communication. I feel like only you know how much time you can continue this way, as obviously you want to respect his feelings but your feelings are valid too.
