How to cheer up in a long distance relationship?

Hi guys,
Actually my relationship is pretty good, but my boyfriend and I are long distance right now and we miss each other very much.
He's been going through some things lately, and I just want to know if anyone has any things that worked for them or ideas about how to cheer someone up when you're far away from them.

support and cheering people up and such in long distance can be different for each relationship.
Just being there talking sometimes about something frivolous or getting his mind off what ever is bothering him....
