How to control triggers?

Hi all, so a few months ago my boyfriend put me in a hurtful situation with certain girls. He’s apologized and is changing. But the names of the girls are so triggering to me. Whether I see it on social media, stores, hear people calling others etc. and it instantly kills my vibe and reminds me of the situation especially if that names comes up when he’s around.

Please, does anyone know ways to cope with being triggered by these names?
