How to detach from him
Initially when he was trying to get close to me , I told him I was not interested in love, I maintained distance, I thought I would suffer if he leaves, but he continuously efforts and without knowing I became so close to him, now he forgot me easily, I am unable to forget him, I keep on messaging him, I will check continuously whether he replied. I know that he only replies uninterestedly but still for my happiness I keep messages for just 1 message from him.

ah honestly ive gone through the same... it's like an inverse thing lol we arent open at the start and then slow to get attached and then once we start getting attached... the other person makes an inverse turn and starts getting disinterested or detached...idk?!?! It's the worst experiences ever to have to fight with yourself about letting somebody in and letting your guard down knowing they are going to hurt you or leave you eventually and when they do it hurts even more ... can't even tell ourselves that we knew it already with all the pain and heartache
if it's possible please try to meet or talk to him and be as direct as possible asking him what really is up with him and why is he being so strange and distant suddenly... tell him how it makes you feel... if you see he is being genuine or has some valid reasons ... maybe try to allow him some time but if it's all excuses or nothing making sense... then I think you're right in your question about how to detach from him... because being in a one sided thing will only impact you more negatively and you don't deserve that...
It may help to think of the life you had before him.. what did you do.. how did you keep yourself occupied etc.. or think of new hobbies, goals, working on yourself and caring for yourself...meeting friends or new people ... basically just keeping busy building your life so you don't even have the time or energy to think about someone who doesn't care about you... it's easier said than done but its needed ...and someday you'll be thankful you chose yourself and your peace 💕💕
I have tried to communicate with him everytime since more than an year, I have been trying to explain how it feels, everytime I say he thinks I am trying to argue, he don't even listen to me, he just shouts, when I ask him to give a clarity whether he is interested in me , he gives a neutral answer, he says he is interested but will not show that, I need to understand it seems. He will try to give 100 excuses , he is the same everytime. He will not change even I argue.
@Bujji2000 then he clearly doesn’t care about your feelings nor makes you feel safe emotionally to share your thoughts :( you deserve better than this…
