I can’t get hookups :(
Hii so I’m a 19 year old guy who broke up with an ex of 2 years a year ago. Since then she moved on to another guy only three weeks after the breakup which hurt me a lot. The breakup made me really insecure and I’m constantly looking for validation from others. I compare myself to others constantly and every time I’ve tried to put myself out there, I never have luck. After the breakup with my ex, I’ve only kissed three people. I get no matches on dating apps which is a very strong reason i’m insecure and it seems I can’t find anything causal with anyone. It seems everyone my age is hooking up but I can’t. I’ve lost my confidence and I feel so lonely sometimes.

Few things going on you may need to think / work on. you can not live in the past and your EX moved on i do not think you have let that go as that was one of the first sentences here.
While everyone like outside validation you need to know your strengths and such on your own.....and if there is not enough there to be confident about what can you do to change that.
When you believe in yourself... it shines through........... Real Confidence in yourself does not come from others but inside.
in your post you say "it seems like everyone else is hooking up" the word SEEMS should spell it out ....your friends might be saying they are but are not...
As for dating apps look over what are you projecting on site ... if not working like applying for a job review your "dating Resume" and you may need to rewrite and highlight other items etc.
@Rayan7 If ever there were a time for you to hear this advice, it’s now. Suck it up. Run it off. One year without a relationship is NOT a tragedy! Get a life! Seriously! One that has a slightly bigger goal of getting laid! That goal will actually be something that will attract a woman.

Sooner or later people will pick up on that.
I've been single for years , and again. So what? Happy by myself and I don't need dating sites.
The trick is simply to not start looking.
