Idk how to tell my (first) boyfriend I'm afraid of s3x
I love him but im terrified of s3x. I'm terrified of contraception and birth and of s3x itself. I'm terrified of my biological gender. But i love him and i need him for my mental health and i don't want to lose him. I had a friend who lost her virginity and then lost the guy and went mental. I'm already mental. Plus his crazy ex stalking him. I have enough problems.
I’m sorry you’re going through this. I can understand the anxiety of not wanting to tell your partner something like that. I’m waiting for marriage (and this isn’t to shame you if or when you may choose differently than me) and telling my partner that is always hard to approach but let me say this: any level of physical intimacy that you aren’t ready for is a bad idea. Your body deserves to be loved and cherished on your timing, not anyone else’s. You do not need to pay for someone’s love and there is no way to say the wrong thing to the right person because the right person will want to hear what comes next. You cannot mess up a good relationship with boundaries that protect yourself, and especially if your mental health is already suffering you deserve to be protected. I would say to intentionally have a conversation and tell him exactly what your feelings are and what your boundaries are. Truth is the foundation from which a relationship can move forward and avoid resentment in the long run.
i believe in you!!
good luck!
