I recently started dating my best friend that we reconnected. I’m his first girlfriend he gives me everything the world the biggest flowers you can imagine everything however he emotionally physically abuses me and then when I tell him the things he does, he says no I didn’t do that. Well if you tell people no one‘s gonna believe you, he tried to kick me out out of his car while it was moving as his driver was driving us he did manage to kick me out once the car has stopped. He really kicked me out. He says things that I really can’t say out loud because it is scary. He says things that as a girlfriend, you do not want to hear emotionally abusive things he would say I don’t know what to do. I moved in to this country for him. I live alone, but part of me does not want to let this go because he always says sorry and he talks about how he’s going to improve and things like that and he cries to me, but There’s a part of me that wanna stay, but there’s a part of me know that I shouldn’t

Only you can see the whole picture. perhaps write down reasons to stay and leave.                                   others will tell you the signs you describe are bad and most likely will escalate.  the crying and remorse is not real but a designed behavior to make you think they are possible of change.

when people stay IMO it is not about the other person but our wanting to refuse the idea we made a real bad choice. That we trusted a bad person. we dress it up in other reasons, but we do not want to be judged for falling into the trap of a serial abuser.

Doing it once, makes you sorry.

Doing it continuously is a chosen pattern.

Nothing justifies it.

You deserve better.

You deserve to be happy and not getting the bare minimum 💚
