My fiancé of 3 years relationship of 6. He had a bad childhood which I use as an excuse for his behavior. When every I do something he doesn’t like, he accuses me of using him, wanting other guys attention, or cheating on him. Then moves to him breaking up with me. That has been going on for 5 years now. Anywhere from every other month to once a week. I beg and beg and beg him to stay. It got to the point I stopped begging and he would just change his mind after 30 minutes. This last time 4 months ago I told him it was emotionally draining and I can’t deal with it anymore. He needed to get therapy to deal with his trauma ( he thinks he has none ) and if he breaks up with me again it would be final. Well Sunday night I got home from seeing my favorite band ( he hates this and thinks I was to cheat on him with them all ) and out of no where he breaks up with me. I then left the room and about 20 lo later he changed his mind. I’m sticking to what I said. But he keeps asking if we can please work it out. Or “ I understand it’s not worth it “ I feel like he is trying to manipulate me. And it’s working…. We have a 4 year old together. We live together… I scared to start over we built a life together… and lastly what if I’m the problem… idk what tO do.. work it out or leave? And if I leave how do I tell our child and help them? And how do I start over and trust again?

@prettywhitejaws

You are not the problem ... a bad childhood is NOT an excuse to treat others badly and his we are broken up / no we are not routine and random accusations of cheating  is  not only childish it shows how immature he is.

Leave him do not back down set your boundaries like him seeking counseling... preferably couples as if left alone i doubt he will work on himself. You have a child to think about would you like them to grow up thinking that behavior is normal ?   to treat your partner so badly or allowing someone to treat them like cr^p.

there is no reason to cave or accept the abuse ... seek out a consultation with a family lawyer often those are free to make sure you can get child support and  half of joint assets.  Legally you are entitled to that married or not in most places.
