Im lost and confused.

Last night my husband told me that he just gives up on life. He doesn't want to try anymore in our relationship. He doesn't want to try in anything. He used words to push me away. He was very hurtful but truthful. He said I'm just waiting to get fired so that everything else can just go to 💩. He talked about how he even thought about leaving us with out saying anything (running away) he said that we are done . When I cried he would say "why are you crying" . The conversation yesterday left me confused, hurt and feeling like I was the problem.

@Thaliav119 Hello Thaliav, I understand that you must be so confused about why he is acting this way and I'm sending lots of hugs. I understand that his words may make you doubt yourself, if not that is great but if you start to doubt yourself, I hope you remember your efforts in the relationship they are significant and important. Have you asked why he feels this way or where his feelings may be coming from?

sounds like he's not happy with himself and hasn't been for a long time. Are there any signs he might be suffering from depression?
