I'm scared

Hi everyone,

Today, I am writing about my fears in my relationship (M/F). I want to tell someone and also recieve help and I feel this would be the best place to do so.

Me and my girlfriend have been together for a few months, I haven't been attached to someone at all in this way before. I've had other partners, but this girl has something I've longed for for such a long time. She's very pretty, she's kind, she's caring and she has lots of love to give.

The problems I have is the fact no matter what, I always feel that she's going to split up with me and nothing I do makes me think otherwise. I've spoke to her about the thing, she reinforces her stance of that she isn't going anywhere. It is always appreciated.

I feel like I really bore her, like I'm not interesting enough. I feel that one day someone's going to message her and she's going to bite and they're going to be very interesting and has conversations for days. I don't really know how to start and keep conversations flowing. I've kinda always struggled with it.

We argue a lot, even when we don't mean to. Arguments are no stranger to relationships, arguments are meant to be to make people into better people. However we argue once a day when we stay at each others houses, it's never intentional I never want to argue but sometimes it just happens, I don't even consider the majority to be arguments. But she does. Which is a major concern of mine.

I don't even know if any of this is even valid, but someone please give me some advice. I do not want to lose her.

@TrippaSnippa420

When you find someone that you feel a lot for to be nervous in a way that you are meeting their needs and they will not wander ... but you have brought that up and she told you she is staying...

if it is a matter of constantly reinforcing that ... it will grow tiresome.

Your minor  disagreements are about what?  once you figure the cause out you can avoid  or really weigh if that is worth it .... are these items that need to be an argument or are they small items most couples navigate through in ways to become a couple

Hi @mightysword531

It's good that you're reaching out to express your concerns and seek help. It's clear that you deeply care about your relationship and want it to work. Feeling fear and insecurity in a new relationship is not uncommon, especially when it's something special to you.

It's essential to remember that communication is key. It's positive that you've spoken to your girlfriend about your feelings, and her reassurance is a good sign. Trust takes time to build, so try to give it time. The thought of not being interesting enough is often a self-doubt, and it's crucial to recognize your own self-worth. People appreciate authenticity and kindness, which you've mentioned your girlfriend values in you.

Arguments are part of relationships, but addressing them constructively is vital. You both can work on improving your communication and finding ways to minimize misunderstandings. Seek compromises and actively listen to each other's perspectives.

Remember, it's valid to have concerns, and it's a sign of care. Focus on building trust and open communication with your girlfriend. Take it one step at a time, and don't hesitate to ask for advice or support when needed. Your relationship has the potential to grow stronger as you navigate these challenges together.
