In a confused state in my life
I need some advice on how to approach my partner about wanting to explore my queer identity/sexuality. I’ve been with him for half a year and he’s my best friend.
Him and I have an age gap and he’s been able to experience a lot of things in his life. I haven’t been able to do a lot of things until a couple months ago after I moved out of my abusive home.
I want to be with him and I’m happy but there’s just something missing in my life right now.
I don’t want to hurt him by communicating about how I’m feeling, but I also don’t want to hide this from him.
I want to be with him but I’m confused on what I need or want.

This is not uncommon when a person who has not experienced many things in life becomes involved with a person who has... as your best friend also i think you could talk about things you have not done and may have an interest in. I have seen people who did not speak up and felt like they were missing out of something and eventually blamed their partner not themselves for not trying things in life.
Hi. That's rather a complicated situation . I think it's due to your traumatic past. You probably need to get to know yourself better. Who you are as an individual, what are your personal values. It's a hard thing to do and maybe that will help you to figure out what you actually want/need in your life.
Communication is always good so I think it's better if you try to talk to him about it. I know talking about topics like this are not always pleasant but it's much better to communicate than holding it all in( speaking from experience).
Of course these are all suggestions and you will do whatever you think is best❤️
I hope this still helped tho.
I wish you all the best and I hope you will figure that out❤️❤️❤️
Sending hugggs ❤️
