Is that normal?
I miss my ex while I'm in relationship, and I can't control my emotions
and I feel guilty about this , what can i do?

I think from a moral perspective it would be fair to your current partner to end the relationship and work on yourself until you’re ready to fully be in a relationship. Doesn’t mean that’s best for your situation though
@philosophicalCherry2959,
that means you need time to grieve and are not ready for a relationship.
Be honest to you and your friend and break up.

Hi Cherry! 😊 ❤️ Thank you for creating this forum post and for reaching out! I know at times, it can take a great deal of courage to do so. I commend you my friend!
I feel as if I may have some very good news for you. You asked "Is this normal"? Indeed, this is well within the range of normalcy. We can *roll up our sleeves* together here in an effort to toss around some ideas, concepts and brainstorm together if you like. Teamwork makes the dream work and I will do my best for you! 😊
So, what I hear you saying is that you are in a current relationship. While in your current relationship, you are having thoughts of your ex and in fact, missing them. This is making you feel quite guilty.
I can understand you feeling guilty about all of this and for me it shows that you do truly care for the person that you are in a relationship with currently. There seems to be a great deal of goodness there in what the pair of you have together. ❤️
Question for you....is there something specific that you felt your ex was providing for you that your current partner is not? Is there something that you can "put your finger on" so to speak, and know that this is what is lacking? If so, I imagine anyone could move forward in a current relationship and broach the topic of not having their specific needs met in a kind, thoughtful and productive way if they feel as if their partner would be receptive to that.❤️
Many times, healthy dialogue can begin with us telling others in our lives how much they are valued, how much we care about them. We can be most thoughtful in letting them know of all of the things that we like that are happening in the relationship and all of the things that we like about them personally.
Asking for ones needs to be met is okay. Your feelings matter too! One could ask for what it is that they need and be willing to negotiate with out even bringing up comparative speech in regard to the ex.
Next thought for you........is this simply a generalized feeling and not something that you can "put your finger on"?
When relationships end, it's typically for reasons. For some reason, things did not work out with your ex. If this is a general feeling, it could be that you are taking a mental and emotional shortcut, that something is missing inside of you, as a person, as a human being. Instead of addressing that (to protect our sensitive sense of self), it can be easier for us at times to not face that and to think what it is that is lacking, has to do with something or someone outside of us. (This would be hiding from ones self in a sense and could be happening on a sub-conscious level).
It could be that something is missing inside of you and you could explore that and grow from it. If this is the case, it could be good to explore that notion so that it doesn't become repetitive in all relationships that you may have moving forward.
Lastly, well, could it be that your ex is someone that you can't get over and you miss them? Is this a story of unrequited love and they, in some way ended the relationship with out you wanting for that to happen? Did it happen abruptly? If so, were you ever given reasons as to why the relationship came to an end? Did you never get closure and answers for it all?
I'm so very sorry that you are going through this right now. I can only imagine how difficult it is for you to feel this way. ❤️
I'm hoping that my response was in some way helpful. If not, I will remain hopeful that others will come along, read your post and contribute as well.
I send you big *hugs* ❤️
