I work consistently and have for the majority of my relationship. But he has jumped from job to job and just isn’t responsible financially.

It is hard when a partner is not stable and consistent makes you worry about if it is a passing thing. It also weighs on you to feel like you will carry the burden of responsibility.
Is it a thing you have discussed? hard to not want to trust or want to believe a loved one will change.
