So i made an fake id and texted my bf late at night pretending to be his ex, and first he was all doubt about who’s he talking to but at the end he was sure that he was talking to his ex (my fake id) and there he shared things like how he’s just with me cause he thinks of me as a good woman and he even shared his shirtless pic to his ex and when i (as ex) begged him to reconcile he hesitated yet agreed and now that I revealed him that was me not his ex

He’s blaming this all on me, he said i made me do this things, i made him say that he’s just with me for my sake and when i asked abt pic he said he shared to lure her and trap her so that he can betray her too like she did

I know i was immature to make fake id of someone and it was my insecurity that led me to do this but i need a perspective on this, im clueless about what happened my mind can’t process anything now he’s blaming me I ruined our relationship and I ruined everything

Hey!  It is definitely not a good sign that you pretended to be his ex. This is not something that someone in a healthy relationship would do. It sounds like there is not much trust in your relationship currently. What do you want to do about the relationship?

I’m willing to accept my faults and move forward with this relationship i know pretending to be someone else is bad but comforting your ex while in relationship is worse i think what you say

The comforting the ex though happened because you manifested the situation by pretending to be the ex. I can't tell you what to do. But from an outside perspective like you asked, it sounds like the relationship is toxic and there is no trust. What made you think it would be an okay thing to pretend to be someone else when talking with your partner?

It's really unfortunate that some poor choices on both sides in that interaction have brought such a strain on your relationship.

We're all human, we make mistakes, we mess up. Do you think you might be able to own up to your part of the mistakes made and allow him a fair chance to explain himself without prejudice?

He said you made him say/do things that he wouldn't have otherwise done. Have you considered that since you're in an active relationship with him, chances are that you exactly know his triggers and buttons, you perhaps would be able to manage a conversation with him far better than any ex or stranger just because you're with him!

It might be worth reflecting upon why you did this. That answer might perhaps guide your path forward. I wish you the best!
