Loneliness in a relationship

So you got engaged and is your loneliness cold feet or a real lack of connection that you want. 

We can love a person and work on some levels but also have parts we do not feel comfortable in yet.  is this something you feel you can talk to your partner about?  I wish in my relationship, my partner and I could communicate better and sometimes without the level of communication i too feel lonely.
