Long distance relationship at risk
I’ve been with my girlfriend for about 3 years and recently we’ve been having issues with communication, connection, etc. This is the first relationship for the both of us and I know for me I’m still learning how to give and receive love. We both love each other but it’s starting to seem like the only solution is separation due to emotional pain that’s been slightly consistent recently. Please help me understand what I should do to reconnect with her and any tips of understanding how to give and receive love. And of you have gone through this how was your experience and outcome. Thank you.

Giving and receiving love means bring open.
Honest.
Having the difficult conversations.
Seeing what both of you need to make this relationship work.
It can be harder when you are not physically in the same place.
You both have to find out what the other person needs to feel loved.
💚
Good luck to you both!

Hi
I was in long distance relationship too. I know this distance is ache in heart that you love someone truly but can't touch and feel them. Having your soul in your country but you think about your parents all the time.
Most of time me and my parent having arguments we always sit and talk and it made our relationship even stronger with mutual talk. We worked resolving the problems we had. But destiny is not being with her.
I'll pray for your relationship 🙏🏽 and I hope you don't go through what Im going through.
Hi i hope you are doing okay

Hey, thank you for sharing your feelings so openly. A first relationship can feel very loving and special, but it can also be challenging, especially when you’re both still learning how to give and receive love.
Open and honest communication can really help reduce tension. Try sharing how things feel for you without blaming each other, and invite your partner to share their feelings too. You can talk about what behaviors make either of you feel unloved or uncared for, and discuss what you both need to feel loved again. Relationships grow stronger when both people are willing to nurture them together.
During this phase, try to make small efforts to understand each other’s pain. Spending more intentional time together may help bring back closeness and smoothness.
You’re not alone in this. Many couples go through similar phases where they feel misunderstood. A healthy relationship should help both people feel loved, supported, and able to grow — not constantly hurt. Keep caring about each other’s feelings and continue talking openly about your concerns. That effort itself can help protect and heal the relationship.
I truly wish you both the best and hope your connection grows stronger.
