Love Is Pain
Love has been my driving force for a long time, despite having unfortunate luck with it. But I'm starting to think that it's my biggest issue. It only hurts. I don't think love has been worth it. It hurts to love so much, I'd rather not feel it at all. Love is the only thing I've believed in, but now I don't think that's there any more. And I wish I could stop feeling this. I'm tired of it. Love only leads to loss anyways.
Sorry for spewing all that lol. Don't let me dishearten the rest of you. Just wanted to push that out my system.

A 19th Century writer Oscar Wilde said it was better to have loved and lost than to have never loved someone at all...
I disagree with him, because I believe it's much better to love and NOT lose.
I believe love is not a bad thing itself, but sometimes it may need some "re-calibrating". We can't do not much when our families and friends not only love, but sometimes hurt us. But as far as the relationships are concerned, isn't it also a matter of the choices we make?
Sometimes our experiences or our ideas about life make us choose people we have not much chance to be happy with. Who seem attractive and charming, but in long term do not go well with the values we believe in.
I believe it might be not about love becoming banished from our lives, but also about making it not toxic or burning, but soothing and... making us feel fuller, richer, happier?
