Mom got mad at me twice and both of them are her own fault.

Backstory:  As much as I love spending time with my mom.  The one thing that is annoying is unless  when she's at home and she's making supper or is in the basement doing laundry- she and Dad are constantly clued to the TV news  only 24/7 except for Colbert show or  shows.    If Dad doesn't go with us to a movie,  Mom tells him about the movie later.    And she knows I will constantly bug her about it until she does tell Dad.     And sometimes she forgets stuff like I was trying to get her to remember Wanda/Scarlet Witch from MCU  and she couldn't remember at all.     Another thing I don't like is when Dad raises the volume up to high because he wants to listen to something important on the news.

So today Mom got mad at me twice today and if you ask me both times it's her own fault.

Story Part 1:   We're going to see that new Disney-Pixar movie Hoppers.   When getting ready I was trying to go pee upstairs but Mom rushed me and I was planning on going downstairs but I got distracted because the phone rang because I thought it might be my friend Grace.   So by the time we got to the bus stop I had to go to the bathroom.  So Mom and I argued for a bit while we walked originally to the church and then to library to go to the bathroom  She got mad at me for not going and -I blamed Mom for rushing me instead of letting me go upstairs like I was trying too.    We got to the movie still in plenty of time.

Part 2:

So after the movie and after supper we took the bus back home  and then walked home instead of having the original plan of having Dad pick us up.   When we got home Mom said to Dad infront of me after I said "the movie was good"  that Mom's words were "I will tell you in a few seconds"  that was at about 8:15pm  and this is 12:27am in the morning and I have kept asking her since I got home if she "has told Dad yet about the movie".    but since we got home they been watching either shows or the news, it's CNN at the time I'm writing.    When I asked for the last time "Mom did you tell Dad yet about the movie?"   And she said "Not yet. I will tell you tomorrow."   and I said "Will you even remember the movie tomorrow?" and then Dad did the raising the volume thing and that hurt my ears  "Can we listen to this?"   and she then got mad and told me to "leave" and then start counting down.     I was very close to saying f word, and saying something  "I hate her".  because she wasn't respecting my feelings.

It made me so upset I had to come back and turn my computer on to write this because I was so upset because Mom hurt my feelings.  At this rate I could have told Dad several hours ago instead of waiting for Mom to do it.   This is the 2nd time this week I had to turn my computer on because she hurt my feelings late at night.

Maybe if Mom can't actually tell Dad the few   *bacon*  *bacon* *Bacon*   seconds  after  we just home about the movie don't tell Dad  *bacon* *bacon* *bacon*  in front of me "I will tell you in a few seconds"  when she knows I will bug her constantly about it for the next several hours  and all of the next day until she tells Dad.

I'm sorry your mother doesn't apologise or take accountability, that's unfair and draining 🩵🤗

@Disneywoman

It can be frustrating when someone else is not seeing it from our viewpoint 🩷

@Amanda84  Mom and I stopped doing Popcorn and movie because of a)the expense and b)we go to supper either before or after the movie, but mostly after if the movie's at like 4:20pm.
