Moving in regret

I was seeing a man for a little over 6 months and we decided to cohabitate. He had mentioned us living together several times and I had to take a lesser paying job could no longer afford to live on my own and kind of pushed for it. Here we are at a little over 8 months together living in his mom's house. They have been nice to me but I can't help but feel there might be a little something extra happening. As soon as we moved in together it felt like we were no longer close. I have heard them whispering about me from other rooms and it's making me really uncomfortable. I have mentioned to him several times that I am just going to move out and he reassures me everything is fine. We have been less intimate the last several months and I keep getting the stron feeling he is at least talking to other women. I feel like I have been in love in the past and ithoughtthis was it. Just feeling really unsure and alone.
