My partner suffers from retroactive jealousy
Hello. I need advice from people who have or have been around retroactive jealousy. I love my partner so much and it makes me depressed that my past has the effect it has on him. I had a few really traumatic experiences on my past relationships so when I met my current partner I over shared because I always tried to explain myself from having the reactions that I had on various topics. As we got closer he thinks about those things constantly. He get really sad and depressed. It really hurts me that he is like that and I really want to help the situation. So how can I help the situation how can I make our relationship better? :(

It is a shame that when you find someone it is a situation where there is no one solution .....
you told them all and now maybe he overthinks on your past ...... others if they are not sharing much a person may not see things that had an impact on their partner.
Do you feel this is something you can sit down and discuss with him? that you appreciate taht some things you told him may be causing his reactions etc.
