Any body on here experience blended families and dealing with exes? It’s such a lonely experience when no one in your life has gone through it and I would love to talk to others who walk in these shoes…

Blended family works best if you can get along as best as you can staying civil and supportive. also helps if family has relationship with ex and feel they have to chose... avoid any sides
Stay out of past issues and as hard as it can be stay out of for example parent decisions between exes who share a child or children.
Kids will speak up on anything they said so direct clear talk is better then half things said or mis-heard.
