Past relationship
He confronted me about a relationship I never talked about but he kept insisting on mentioning it and asking about details. It all happened before him. We’ve been together for over six years. I never even thought about anyone else. I love him wholeheartedly. I don’t want to talk about that relationship. But he insists and he’s searching for details. I am afraid if he finds the truth he will leave me. Now that we are closer than ever.

You cannot keep someone in the dark and expect them to stay. It may be hard for you to talk about it, but sometimes the best is to be honest about it and hope he will see you for what you are now and not what you were then.
I hope the best for you.
@FebM,
why?
The past is the past, and now is now. If he can't accept that then he has an issue with himself that he needs to sort out/ be open about.
@FebM
It seems like your partner is fixated on a past relationship, but you're uncomfortable discussing it. It's important to communicate your boundaries and feelings honestly. If it's causing strain, consider seeking support from a couples therapist to navigate the situation together. Trust and understanding are key in any relationship, and working through challenges can strengthen your bond.
@FebM
Your partner should respect your boundaries and comfort zones, but it is only natural that he would want to know about your past, especially your past relationships. Sometimes opening up and confessing doesn't turn out so bad. And since you guys are so close, and maybe planning on spending the rest of your lives together, it is best that there is little to no secrets kept between each other.
