Political Divide
I am struggling to deal with the gap and isolation that my husbands and my political and religious beliefs have created in our relationship

I think many people have different views on these things and can leave that out of feelings ... i know many marriages that have different views. Was this known before or did you or they change views on things? Do you feel this changes your feelings or the person you married?
I have many friends and my partner and i have differences in opinion. We can have many involved debates and conversations and in friendly environment share perspectives. The purpose is not to "win" or be 'right or wrong" but grow understanding and look at things in a new way....often learn new things along they way.
I have always found at the base we have more in common then we think and where we divide is approach to possible answers to problems.
