Some advice please?

So here goes,

I'm just sitting doing my reports and stuff after doing some chores this morning and making myself some tea. Now this was early this morning before 9am.

Fast forward to lunch time (1-2pm) I hear my partner clattering in the kitchen, so he's just making himself some lunch, no biggie, I go in and just ask "whatcha doing" and he replies in his own lil way "what's it look like?" (He was cutting some spring onions for his lil omelette)

We just go about our own lil thing and I make myself a ham sandwich and go back into our office to eat my food while working away on my reports, he calls out if I'm done with the bread and I reply saying yes (after hesitation due to not hearing him right) I go to eat my sandwich and see there's mould on the bread so I immediately go into the kitchen to tell him and he just coldly replies "yea I know it expired yesterday" continuing to make his food. I bin mine and grab snacks to tide me over until dinner as it's nearly 3pm at this stage

Then he's acting like somethings up so I ask him "what's wrong" I get the reply of " go away, I don't want to see you right now" while he's just making himself food, not even looking in my direction.

This was a while ago now and he's shut himself in the bedroom basically all day and I've just not got the gall to ask because he's 30 years old and tbh has to stop acting so childish and tell me what happened?

I'm really sorry to hear about what you're going through. It sounds like a frustrating and hurtful situation. Communication breakdowns like this can be really tough, especially when you're just trying to have a normal day.

It’s important to give each other space when emotions are running high, but it’s also important to address the issue calmly and openly when both of you are ready. Maybe when things have settled down a bit, you can gently approach him and express your feelings. Let him know that you’re here to listen and understand what happened, but also that clear communication is crucial for working through any issues.

In the meantime, take care of yourself and try not to internalize his actions as a reflection of your worth. It’s okay to feel hurt and confused, but remember that you deserve respect and understanding in your relationship. If you feel comfortable, expressing how his behavior made you feel could also be helpful once things have calmed down.

Remember, relationships have their ups and downs, and navigating misunderstandings is part of the journey. Hang in there, and I hope you both find a way to communicate and resolve this peacefully

So we had an argument about our situation and his reasoning for leaning me alone and not speaking to me for hours is because I have a deadline for the reports. (This is ***) He'd normally still come in to check up on me etc but we had an argument and the main reasons is because I wouldn't leave him alone when he's doing stuff (I just ask what he's doing) and because I don't do something as soon as he likes.

A lot was said during the argument but it wasn't resolved and I'm still confused as to what we fought over ?? He said I'm not considerate, empathetic or I listen to any of his advice or him because to him it seems I just listen to get it over with then go do my own thing. Like bro tried to tell me to stop spending money (that I didn't have to spend BC I was broke) and then went and bought a Ps5 😂

Fast forward to after the argument. I leave for my mum's as I'm spending the day with her and my family. He literally told me I was dropping our relationship to spend time with my "family" and that basically I was making out he wasn't part of it. (Simply for saying I was going to celebrate the 11th)

Then he messages me around 16:36pm yesterday saying he's going away for a few days starting yesterday. I question where he was going and why and got a curt reply of "I mean i have a flight to catch and you have the house to yourself. Manchester for now." I still question why he's just up and left the country but get no reply until he just replies back "Peak District I don't know." And that's all the communication I got from him yesterday.

He won't answer any of my calls and now I'm just done.
