Stuck

I’ve been with my partner for about 7 months and I’m stuck about what to do.

After the third month we started getting into daily fights about if I truly love her or not and how I treat her. Everytime I mess up it is a cycle of the same things, whether I forget our daily meetup, go through a period of not complimenting her or failing to comfort her and understand her I always seem to mess up. I say I won’t do something any longer but then I end up doing it, usually unintentionally forgetful but then by that logic if I cared for her I wouldn’t forget.

This has gone on for so long and today my jealousy got the better of me and I feel really guilty. I’ve tried breaking up before and she always begs me back. She’s absolutely swamped with schoolwork and tells me that if I leave it will mess up her life. I think leaving is the right thing but I don’t know if I should given the current circumstances.

I don’t think I’ll be able to even be with somebody else as if I hurt one person this much I don’t think there’s hope to be with another.

If this seems really overdramatic we are both teenagers.

Any thoughts (doesn’t have to be advice) would be appreciated

If I had to be honest, you know deep down, this is not the relationship for you.

You are not responsible for messing up her life.

Or get studies.

You need to get the same energy back from someone that you put in, not immaturity and point scoring.

You shouldn't have to walk on eggshells around her.

She's responsible for her own wellbeing.

@raspberryShip1387

you both are learning what you want in a relationship. IMO breaking up is something that may help both of you.

from what you wrote she is very needy and expects you to meet an unrealistic expectation of being there when She needs and complimenting and supporting and expecting you to know her wants and needs after 7 months....  now when you think it is time to break up it is not a convenient time for her.

 What is in it for you?    relationships are two ways NOT one trying to do everything to appease the other and feeling like they are not enough.

you are enough and what she is asking of you is way over the top.
