The people we try to love
I’ve been in a situationship with this guy for a year and a half now almost 2 years and a half now. I’m at the point where I’m learning boundaries and the importance of having them. I know he is no good for me and that I should let go of him for my greater good, however I still have fear of letting go because of the trauma bond we have. It sound simple like okay let go and I should, but it’s not easy and it actually hurt a whole lot to even think of not seeing him anymore.

So you know he is not someone who good for you in the long run but you also do not want to let go. Many people have been or are in your shoes...
common sense says to let go and such but it is hard ... some people think a bad relationship is better then no relationship... others may feel it could still work out etc... you have a bond and as even more time goes by you have a history with this person .... but time makes leaving and searching for a new partner harder... and more complicated the deeper it gets....
Only you know your limits and if you really want to make a break ..... investing in something not going to work is a waste of your time ....
