This is all so difficult

I have fell in love with a guy who I work with and up until very recently he has been in a relationship..this has since broken down and they’re no longer together. We are incredible friends. Obviously I don’t believe right now he’s interested in any sort of relationship nor do I blame him.
we do have an amazing connection. It’s noticed all the time and work and forever commented on. I love him. But I have also been trying to accept the fact that nothings on my side. He’s still studying and I’m qualified..he’s a couple years younger so life stages are different..doesn’t make me love him any less. So regretfully and painfully I’ve been trying to talk to others on dating sites..and I found someone that I was getting on well with and then he unmatched me after looking at my pictures further
i know it’s normal for that to happen but doesn’t hurt any less. I’m now in a big spiral thinking I’m not good enough for the guy I love or anyone for that matter and I can’t stop it. Thought I would vent to see if anyone had any advice

I'm really happy to hear that you're so close to your crush :) Even being friends is great and can allow for a great foundation if anything were to happen down the line. May I ask how many years apart you guys are? It's normal for there to be some difference in age and that's okay, as long as you both are consenting adults. Have you tried talking to him about your feelings? Maybe it could work out! I'm excited for you and I hope for the best!! ❤️
We’re 4 years apart☺️ and no I haven’t, it’s a tricky situation to navigate as he’s only just coke out of a relationship so I don’t want to push it too soon, alongside the fact he has a lot going on at home that’s not necessarily nice. He uses work as an escape so the last thing I want to do is make it uncomfortable for him there if I was to open up about it so im a bit stuck☺️ thank you for the advice tho I really appreciate it💗
