My man have a friend who talks to him about her ups amd down. She met me first time and i was the one who was comversing she give me rude cold vibe. My bf told me that she is not comfortable with girls thats why.

Anyways i get strange vibes from her so i told my boyfriend to not talk to her like just Distance himself he agrees but he never stop. He continue talking to her and now i found out he is sorry and said it wont happen again. Honestly i feel like he is cheating on me emotionally

I dont wamt to be paranoid kind of person. My bf have other female friends too and they always involves their partner and me into doing stuff and bonding but she mever initiate anthong. Am i wrong thinking this way? Am i overthinking. Hoenstly i dont know what to think.

Hi!

I can appreciate that you don’t like this person; however, asking your bf who he can or can’t interact with is more about controlling him than it is about this woman. If this woman’s behavior was disrupting your normal routines, like mealtimes, activities and events that you and your bf do together, etc. then it would have been reasonable to let your bf know how you feel and what you are observing. But if it was only insecurity that you felt, then that is something for you to work on.

Since you have already asked him, and he agreed, to stop contact with this woman, then that is fine. But if she tries to contact him again and he re-engages, then I suggest you observe how this woman is affecting the time you and your bf spend together.

The thing is i clearly talk to my bf that if i have same relation with a boy will he be okay. He said no.

Plus there is a line between being friends and more than friends. She is slowly turning into more than friend. Sharing her traumas.... looking for emotional support. Telling him to txt when u reach some place. Its seems more like a relationship to me. these are some instances i observe then i told him to distance humself.

@Theamani

Just sharing of trauma may not mean she is crossing a boundary: Does your bf bring her problems or discuss her situation in conversations with you? If yes, then that may be a boundary for you two to work out, like telling him you don’t want to hear about this person.

When you say she asks him to text her when he reaches some place—that is a good observation: it tells that this person’s behavior is interfering with his life (and potentially yours too). Like you said, this is relationship behavior.

If this person is now out of your lives, then that is good … but if she tries to come back (or if he lets her back in), then I suggest he advises her to seek counseling or a support group (like here at 7cups). I would not advise you to try and control his behavior by telling him to distance himself from this person.

I hope this makes sense … and I hope it helps 💛

Hey thanks for the clarity i talk to him and he said sorry to me as these are really red flags from her side. He assure me that he wont let her in. Im trying to trust him.

I have been through betrayel and cheating twice. So naturally i react lot more than normal folks does. I understand this but it does not mean that my observations are wrong. And i do have hard time to trust.
