Hey everyone! I've never posted to this thread before but I could really use some advice right now. So, I'll give you a quick run-down of the situation.

So I've had a crush on this guy for about 7 months and I just started dating him a month ago. He's really sweet to me, a gentleman, shy, and respectful towards me. We haven't even kissed yet but we've held hands. However, one friend of mine has been passively disapproving of my boyfriend even before we started dating. He was always like, you should stay away from him but he never gave me specifics and so it made me feel like whatever it was, it wasnt so bad and I'd be fine to persue my crush. However, I just told said friend that the guy I'm dating asked me to prom and my friend replied with "We really gotta talk about this. I've tiptoed around it for too long and that's on me but genuinely, you are not safe with him. I'm being completely serious. I'm worried for you"

Now I'm lost. I feel like I'm in too deep with this boy to just up and leave. I really like him but maybe hes just been pretending to be this nice guy when really he's not? I don't know what to do.

@kkoolkat

What do you wish to do with respect to future?

Would you rather live with regret that you had a chance to go with crush or you can be satisfied that you atleast tried what you wanted to do?

Also this other friend that's stopping you , shouldnt you ask him a proper explanation before you decide to crush your dream?

@kkoolkat

If the concerned friend has real information to validate his concerns he should share those with you...

being just you are not safe ... or such and no facts ......could it be possible he is interested in you and wants to discourage your interest in your crush..... what else do you know about your crush ... do you feel safe with him?
