What does serious looks like to you?

Just food for thought I guess.

I've asked a friend this before, and they have told me: marriage, family, kids.

And I'm that's not for me ya know. I don't need marriage or kids for a relationship to be serious.

I just want us to be living together, stable jobs, open communication and the want to work together when problems arise.

I currently don't have a partner, but I if found someone, I wish we have the same goals.

What's serious for you? And if you have a partner, is it the same for them as it is for you?

@DreamyPal

The idea of serious to me is simply being committed. You're invested in the relationship. You want to maintain it. It doesn't matter what you add to it (like marriage, kids, etc. as you said); it's the agreement to be with the person for the long haul in whatever form it takes for the two of you, in whatever way you value your relationship.
