Why I can’t find my people?

meeting people is not like shopping on amazon..... as for your soul mate .... i found that they may not match the picture in your head either.  I thought the person i have spent many years with and had children with was a complete jerk when i first met them.... 

when we are actively "looking" we are searching for what we think we think we want in a person/ friend. We do not open ourselves to the possibility of someone we did not envision.   we assume nothing is working because we are searching so fast we may have missed something or overlooked someone
