Why cant i change
I have been in a year long relationship we were doing good and then we started arguing for 5 months about how I wouldnt call even if I asked cus I was to busy on video games so I put more focus into her, but then I hurt her alot. It was me on repeat just showing her I didnt care but I do and it was just over and over and now nothings enough no sorry no corny messages no I love yous nothing. ive made so many mistakes idk what to do anymore I cabt change why.

Change does not stick unless we chose it for ourselves. you trying to be more for her and not ignore while playing video games was you trying to change for her not yourself.
So many times people will try to do something for someone in their life but fail after a certain amount of time because for them they still want to play games or whatever their thing is. IMO that is why so many get serious about change when they are about to lose a person. You have to decide is whatever you get out of video games the competition? the skill ?and feeling "hey i am good at this" ... is worth being alone......... if not fill those needs of building a new skill or hobby that includes her.
