anxious attachment

So, I've seen this guy twice. After we met he moved to a different city. He kept telling me that we would meet again but never suggested any specific date. I know he's busy with moving. sometimes we texted normally but once he didn't respond for 13 hours so I sent him an emotional text about being hurt by this and that and feeling used by him. he said that my interpretation was completely wrong and he even would be interested in something more than casual hookups (which is what we agreed on before) and that he was sorry I felt hurt. I just liked the last message and texted him yesterday saying I was sorry for misinterpreting his behaviour and that I understand that he was busy moving. haven't received a response ever since. I'm so afraid I messed it up and that it is over. it's really hard for me to take it and wait until he texts me which he may never actually do.

Hello @reservedStrawberries2858.

I hope things work out... I can tell you like this person..

You seem to suggest that you believe you may be smothering him... it's possible.. give him space if you believe that...

I hope he returns your text, i'm wishing you the best!!🌟

@reservedStrawberries2858    I hope everything works out for you!

Since you are aware that you have an anxious attachment, you should think about creating clear boundaries early on, limit the "relationship" texting like avoid the daily check-ins, gn texts, etc. due it just mimicking an attachment that does not actually exist. Also, try to have a cutoff point like when you catch yourself developing feelings or feeling anxious whenever they take too long to reply, pull the plug right away.

I, myself, have a very hard time with this due to me not allowing people to have that much access to me so when I do, I often mess it up for myself as well, so I understand.
