my boyfriend and i’s relationship is so good but i have so much past trauma that makes me overthink, like when he takes longer to respond or he doesn’t tell me he loves me the same as usual, i feel like he might be cheating on me and when i asked him about it, he said he would never cheat on me. i’m scared he is going to feel like he’s not loving me good enough and leave. does anyone have any tips that could help me not feel like he’s doing something he isn’t? thank you to anyone that helps me!

I'm sorry you have past trauma 💚

I understand how difficult it can be.

But you have to trust your bf.

And not push him away.

Always communicate honestly.

Be there for each other.

Have fun.

Don't overthink.

Just stay in the present .

You deserve this relationship and to be happy, never forget that 💚

@peanutjumpy

Overthinking causes many problems in our lives. It is hard for those of us that do it.  all it does is create doubt and rob us of Joy.

Relationships IMO should Never be judged on how fast they respond, this is one of the big downsides of instant communication.

Please do not jump to conclusions if they do not respond in (x) number of minutes or they did not say love you when you or how want to hear it.

All relationships go from a sort of love bombing to a settled peace and trust bond in each other.  That does not mean it is over or in trouble etc. It means you are secure and know it is solid without constant validation.
