hello everyone, i just wanted a general answer to this vague vague question.

i love my partner so much and i know he has a lot of love for me as well. but i both feel as we are just so drained and lost and we can’t find the answers.

maybe i should’ve added in the title, how do you know it’s worth fighting for vs when it’s not.

id love to hear your thoughts, thank you

we have all heard if you love something give it away - if it comes back it was meant to be. Sometimes time apart can be all you need to look around and get some out side perspective.

you’ll know it’s worth fighting for if you can trust yourself to say it. Everything is worth it if you want it to be.

You can do this. I’m terrified of this feeling as well, thats normal. You.can’t be afraid of change for ever you have to embrace it.

@totoro111 have you asked your partner?

@totoro111

You can ask yourself this question:

Does this relationship add to my happiness & wellbeing or does it take away from it?

The answer to this might as well be the answer to your question. You mentioned that both of you are drained and lost, although you love your partner so much. Another question for you might be: is the relationship draining you or is it something else?

If it is something else - even though both of you are having it difficult, that is even more an opportunity for you to support each other. These difficult times are the ones where you see not only what your relationship is, but also has the potential to be in the future. You can see what your partners coping mechanisms are and whether do they suit your idea of how you should support each other and solve problems together. In this way, you will have an idea of how it will be to live with this person for the rest of your life.

I hope that this was helpful and that it answered your question! I wish you the best of luck <3
