lack of choices for groups to replace old-day program and argument with Mom

So i used to attend a day  program over in Achilles  it been online since 2020.  It was suppose to be back in person but that never happened even after it was being made accessible.  Before I talk about disabled-oriented groups I want to make myself very clear about non-disabled group or other  options.

a Part-time job is out for me because of being on Disability Income, too risky (could get kick off and need to get back on) and also doesn't give me a lot of flex time.     

There's no classes i would be interested in in my region,  I'm don't really do art,    I don't do music, and also that would only be for children/teens I assume.  

Activities  like in a previous post, the restaurant's Disney Trivia night, requires a smart device,  or in other cases like bowling or mini golf, you need a group of people to play it because it's not fun as a "party of one"     

Beside the disabled oriented groups I'm going to get too shortly,   the other options in town are either for families, either single-parent-with-kid, or for married-couple with children,  or they're for grandparents.  Book Clubs seem to be geared to middle-age women and also I doubt any classics would be on a middle-age women book list there like Dickens or Jane Austen.       

I am looking into a Neurodivergent adult D&D group but I'm expecting that to be mostly in evenings at the best not morning/afternoons. 

Disability oriented groups and the issue with each,  number 2 is mostly mom's problems, not mine.

Option one is local  (ie in town) sister program to my old day program,  I tried it twice back when my day-program was still in person  and  again in Jan 25.  In both locations it was very crowded and it was even more crowded in the new location it's basically is elbow-to-elbow table and only one other room to escape too.  You basically have to crawl over others just to get to the bathroom!  So basically  no space to breath.    And when i went in 2025,  I had to sit right infront of the door because that was the only seat left as of 9:00am and the program doesn't start until 10am.   But at least this one would be flexible 

Option 2 (This is the one I'm interested in).  Is it in Pickering and they go to Zoo every week/every other week, and on I think its Fridays or Saturdays they go into Toronto sometimes to see sports.  They did once go to safari area in our  province,  and last December they went to the Annie musical up in "bard's town"  which I had seen in the summer.   Mom doesn't like this because outside of (Disabled Summer Camper) and (woman from old day program)  she "doesn't think i would fit in" because the others beside the two previously mentioned, seem to be severely disabled.   Her other question of concern is that she's thinks a privately run group is more questionable then a public run not-for-profit group  like the old day program/its sister program,      and the last option

The last option is Participation House's group I don't know what they do on normal Mondays but this Monday they're cleaning up because of Earth Week.   On Tuesday & Thursday they volunteer and I already volunteer enough between my once-a-week volunteer job at the church,  ushering Mom's plays and also helping at Bible Camp.   Not to mention eventually I'm going to add something else to that list also at church.      Friday's they do exercise days, so swimming, and bowling.   The only day they seem to be in one location is on Wednesday which I wouldn't be able to attend because I choose that day to go to work mostly.  Not to mention no flexibility since I have to commit according to what I heard previously for 3 months.    Also there's doesn't seem to be any "field trips" into Toronto,  its mostly stay-in-the-region mostly.   And that's so boring when I'm already live and travel through the region

At fruit Mom didn't like me 'polishing" about Dad and then we had an argument she said "You need to find something to do you don't want to do  the sister program to (day program)" (I can't seem to get it through her head, it was like Christmas of 2005 when we're having a family get together at her brother's and there were 20 people there all together between the 3 sets of parents, the one set of grandparents, 2 sets of cousin partners, and one set of adults with no children,  6 single folks, )   

and when I pointed out about the Pickwick Program,  Mom said something about "you wouldn't fit in" despite me mentioning DSC person and woman from day program.   that "everyone else seems to be more severely disabled"   and also "she has questions about the program being privately owned vs. public run by groups and not for profit. 

I didn't mention I didn't really want to do the other program because they don't seem to be in one place except on maybe Wednesdays which I wouldn't be able to go too.   And serious if you volunteer like  every week at church, and then do extra volunteering at church-ushering or summer's Bible camp, would you really want to be volunteering elsewhere as well?   Which is what they'll would be doing on Tuesday & Thursdays.  I mean sure it would get me out of the house.   I don't know where they go swimming,   but mostly they seem to stick in our region and I would rather have the options of travelling outside of the region with a group.  

I used to have another problem about local groups (ie stimga about being disabled and also what I like to call "Harriet Potter")  but I'm don't really care about it anymore since I could run into people anywhere as I discovered on Sunday when I ran into a school mate
