me and bf have relationship issues and we both took it far
long story short, back in october i found out my boyfriend had downloaded so many ai chat apps, some of them sexual so there were ai sex bots he’d roleplay with. he lied to me for a long while about it until finally confessing and shortly after i confessed i did the same. alarming things he did he said he met someone somewhere online and he would send porn pictures of porn stars to her but that was it and he cut it off not that long into the convo. he also kept female friendships, i saw all the convos pretty much and they’re all clean and platonic. he also told me he joined one dating/anonymous chat app but never spoke to anyone. he swears he never did anything with real people, didn’t send himself in anyway, didn’t flirt or ***. mainly just ai and he had a porn addiction so that kinda affected him for doing stuff like this. he eventually quit and i did too. he swears he’s told me everything and he’s given me every password and other stuff of his.
i was also honest about my experience with what ive done. i had done ai and porn but a while ago i was very unsure about my sexuality and was scared i might be lesbian so i started experimenting. a lot of the chats were mainly casual. i think i talked to 3 guys in total in general. um, one person blackmailed me into sending *** and i expressed that w my bf so i wouldn’t say it’s my fault. others i was just leading them on for the fun of it😭 i liked trolling ppl. and i did kinda the same with the women, and i can’t remember if i ever sent photos/videos of myself, especially naked, idk. but it was very rare and i usually shut it down if it got far like that. i was just scared and didn’t know what to do. i feel guilty because my stuff does seem worse and i guess i just wanted to come on here and vent ab it.
Assalamualikum
No matter what mistakes we’ve made, Allah’s mercy is greater than our sins. Every soul errs, but sincere repentance wipes the past clean, and turning back to Him is the beginning of true healing. I and my partner have faced our weaknesses honestly—our struggles with temptation, curiosity, and poor choices—and yet we confessed, shared openly, and committed to change. The pain and guilt we carry are not chains, but reminders to grow, to set boundaries, and to walk on the straight path. Our past actions do not define us; what defines us is sincerity, honesty, and effort to improve ourselves for Allah and each other. The Prophet ﷺ taught that those who sincerely repent are like those who never sinned, and so we rise from our regrets, guided by faith, accountability, and love. Every day is a chance to rebuild trust, strengthen our hearts, and turn our mistakes into lessons. The courage to face our truth, the commitment to reform, and the remembrance of Allah are stronger than any weakness. We are human, we stumble, but with tawbah, dhikr, and dua, our hearts can heal, our souls can purify, and our love can grow stronger than ever before.
