parents truma

hello, i want to share my thoughts as i am puzzled.

Is moving from " i hate my parents and i wont forgive them for what they did to me "

to

" they tried their best based on their knowledge and how their was raised , and didn't mean actually to hurt me , they treated me based on their definition of love, and i will just accept that fact "

is a bad thing to happen ?

i mean,is this a part of healing or grown up or i am just falling apart again and this is some kind of another trauma ?

i have a younger sister, and we were raised by the same father and mother but somehow i could manage my truma and heal myself alittle bit by avoiding the hurt and make my own world of healthy connections and not sharing my pain with my parents or even confronting them .

but she

she is still 20 and she couldnt manage that and she is angry and hates them ,dont want to live with them , feels alot of pain .

i can feel her cause i was there someday .

but i cant fight them or speak with the same energy she has now , cause "as i think" i moved on !, and she sometimes mistaken this as i dont get her or i dont understand her .

how to deal with that ?

That can be tough. Tough not only be adjusting to having to meet your own needs by parenting yourself. But also to be in that adjustment with your sister. Especially if your sister is not ready for that yet.

What to do.?

I mean i read in psychology and search and try to apply what i read .

But she not really into that ,. She says that she doesn't like reading or watching vedioes about psychology rather than applying what it says , and she tried but didnt work .

We try to find a psychologist near us but it's kinda difficult at my place and there is also kinda resistance from dad as this is not acceptable for him .

@LostInNowhere You've tried and both of you are still struggling. That's difficult. I'm confident that if you keep looking, you'll find what you need
