Help getting through a rough time

My partner is in a very bad place financially which leads to a mentally bad place. We've been fighting quite a bit during this time, always over small things so never anything major. I've done my best to help him and listen to him, and I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that I can't magically solve all his problems. I'm also quite the sensitive person and when I'm hurt, it's hard for me to remember that he is going through a lot, but I also feel like he should at least try to understand how I feel. When we fight it makes my heart ache and I start to feel really hopeless and scared. I get guite down during our fights. But he's the sweetest, loveliest, most caring guy I've ever met. I truly do love him to bits and we usually get on really well. I love him so much and I want to have a future with him. Please encourage me, tell me if there's still hope and we just have to pull through together. I want to as well. Is my hopelessness just my brain trying to find an easy way out? People go through tough times and come out stronger on top right?

Perhaps it's possible to have less fighting... using strategies like these maybe...
