How do I know if my spouse is a narcissist?
Recently I posted questioning whether a happy marriage can exist with a narcissist...but how can someone be sure they are married to one? Do you think there is a gray area? Can someone have a few traits but still be an ideal spouse? Thoughts?

There are MANY grey areas ...
unfortunately the term has been overused and is a major thing of amateur diagnosis...
reading the traits in an article for example i could pick out many at work / family / neighborhood that may fit .......because they are very general.... if you look for it.
IF you notice traits and can address those as they come up you can handle it. I think many just let it go on until a problem then throw out the you have all these traits you may be.....
That is a great point. I lean towards it being overused as well. I like to think a person can have traits but not be put into a box of that label. Gives me hope! Thank you.
