I feel like I’ve become to lose myself and my happiness. I feel similar to when I was diagnosed with depression, so I want to get myself out before it gets too bad. My boyfriend and I have had our ups and downs, and I need to get out of the funk. I think I unknowingly self sabotage my relationship. I pick so many fights and I just can’t stop. Neither one of us deserve it. Our biggest issue is his friend Lexie who I just can’t seem to be comfortable with him being friends with. There’s been so many issues surrounded by her, but of course I started them. I want to be okay with there friendship, I just don’t know how. It drives me crazy. But yeah, mainly I just want to know if anyone has tips on how to stop the fighting and be careless again. I just want to know how to trust him and let go and be happy.

How long have they been friends for and have you met her ? Everything is not only on you. He too has to be transparent and be trustworthy.

Hey! This is my first time on this app and I feel like I could relate to u because I’ve been there. This is definitely something hard because if you see him giving the same attention or even more to someone else - especially a female, there will definitely be insecurities. I’ve caused problems in the past because I was insecure and did not trust him around any girls. But after some reflection, I realized that there has to be an establishment of trust and to utilize communication more. Maybe you can try to use communication more extensively by staying in constant communication. I feel this is key with putting your anxiety to rest and establishing trust. When you know what’s going on, then you would feel less inclined to assume the worst and shouldn’t feel worried. I hope this helps and I definitely hope your relationship gets better.
