I've been married to my wife for 10 years. We used to be inseparable. 6 years ago we decided we wanted to try to have a kid. She needed help through a fertility doctor and the pressure was on for me... I choked. I just could not preform. I knew how bad she wanted a child and I wanted one bad too. We where able to have a child but she had to be inseminated. I think she took it as I was not attracted to her but that's so far from the truth I love this woman more than anything. We have not had sex since my child was born 5 years ago. Things over time just got worse. She was always the type to blame me for anything. She could be in a different room and hurt herself and it was my fault. But she would always laugh after and say she was careless or whatever. That is not the case anymore and is getting worse because she gets so mad. She will say she hates me she will say in the moment that she wants me gone and wishes she never met me. She says she loves me but it more now feels like she hates me. I love this woman with all of my heart but find myself avoiding her and just taking care of my child. I have no self worth anymore and any motivation I used to have is gone. I try to tell her we need to work together but she basically says work on yourself. There is so much more to this but I just need to figure out how to get the woman I love back. The woman I had when I was ready to start a family back. The woman who would bring the very best in me out and I would bring the best out of her. I need help

@Zorby84 Is marriage counseling an option for you? Or you could at least see your own counselor and get guidance on how to communicate better with your wife?

It's an option and I'm working on getting into it. Just very expensive.

Hi @Zorby84,
I feel so sad to hear this and I know what kind of situation you are going through. Because I had experienced a similar kind of situation a year ago. My wife and I was married for 15 years and we have no kids. We had done infertility treatment in various hospitals, but nothing worked out for us. And the only solution that most of the doctors recommended was to go for surrogacy, but my wife was not interested in it due to some strange reasons. It all started from then. After our marriage, we were not having any different opinions or arguments, but after this incident, she was not the woman I met first. For no reason, she used to fight with me, and this affected our relationship. So I took her to an anxiety therapist as I thought all these fights and arguments could be due to depression. And after some sessions the therapist advice us to attend
couples therapy. We were having several sessions individually and for both of us. Now, even though she is not yet agreed to surrogacy, Our relationship is being good and healthy as it was before. From our experience, I believe that couples therapy can help you guys to handle all the problems.
