Lying husband
I've been with my husband for 16 years I have a 2 year old son and 17 year old daughter. When I was pregnant with my son I left my career to be a full time mom and haven't worked in 3 years. My husband is a electrician and I just found out that he has been lying to me about his job for the past 10 years. He's been lying about where he goes his position at the company ect. I found our that he actually has his own building he's been managing for the company for the past 6 months it's down the street from my house! And I had no idea. Well also turns out he's been talking to a girl in the office for the past 3 years on the phone and through text and deleting his calls and texts from her. Shes 23 years old and we both are 39. I'm shattered and broken I actually assumed we had a really good relationship but apparently I'm not important enough to share anything about his job and he's been talking to some kid not much older than our daughter. He swears there was no affair but I don't believe him for a second. He keeps telling me over and over that they were just talking sounds like an emotional affair but he deny everything. I know it's easy for people to say leave but I have kids no job and no family near by. Looking for advice from someone that has overcome an affair and stayed....on top of all this when I asked him to come clean he told me bits and pieces and continued to lie over the next 2 months it seemed

there is a lot of things going on ........
if you want to work on it you might need to address them all .........
10 years is a very long time to be unclear about his job do you not ask him about his day what he does ...i fake an interest in my spouses job ....
your ages around 40 is classic for men to have a mid life crisis and enjoy text and calls from a younger woman .........ego boost ....
the 3 years is equal to when you left career was that a mutual choice for you to be stay at home?
I know it may sound odd......... but my spouse told me if i would move for his career after a long time of me always working i could quit and NOT work ....but as time went on he did not like Me NOT working it was an adjustment he did not like ...... communication before it becomes an issue was something i wish i did....
do you feel it is just emotional and if so ... being interested in his daily life/ job / and emotional needs will make her a memory........
this will take a long time together and conversation not with a 2 yr old interrupting is there a way you can get away and rekindle your relationship?
