My first love texted me yesterday..
I’m in a relationship already, two years! But my first love and I were madly in love, just the timing wasn’t right and the location wasn’t right. Yesterday he texted me and we chatted for about 6 hours, I’m ashamed to say I was all giddy and excited like I was young again. I’ve always fantasized about this moment... when our timelines eventually lined up. I don’t know.. what would you guys do? Is it alright that I still have feelings for someone I knew 4 years ago?
@mochimaggi i wouldn't keep in contact how fair is it to your current boyfriend
Many people often have that kind of person. It's totally fine. Though there are consequences it you act on it, so be sure about what you are doing. Talking to someone on a friendship level is not a big deal as long as you don't go further. Suppressing it might be even worse.
I personally think it’s fine to still have love for the first ever person you loved. But you have found a way to move along in life and anyone who you once loved and who once loved you should respect that. Also maybe to help re-center when ever you do talk to your past love, think about your 2 year relationship. Remember why you are in that relationship and remember the value and love you feel for said person, yes it is okay to have love for someone in the past especially if there was no conflict but there should be boundaries now that you have matured and grown. Hope this helped❤️
Thank you for your kind reply ♥️ another question: What would you do if you weren’t happy in your current relationship but were held down by financial means? Like sharing a bank account/buying a house together etc... I’m 21 and this is my first relationship but I think it might be too serious, I still haven’t experienced dating other people or dating other genders and all that. Idk, on one hand it’d be really unfair to my current boyfriend, but on the other hand, I should be able to date whoever I want. Sigh..
You’re soo welcome❤️ & I get it, that seems super frustrating! You are correct there are a lot of things keeping you both together , but the best thing I can tell you is that if the amount of love isn’t reciprocated on both sides it’ll be very tough to navigate , you are pretty young and you have your whole life ahead of you so it’s important to figure out who you are and what you want along the way! With that the situation you are in now could be a lesson for the better decisions you will make in the future. It’s important to be honest with your self and your partner for your happiness and theirs. You are an adult and you do have important things to discuss, so in my opinion you should definitely discuss them but before thinking about the steps in regards to how you feel about dating other people try making a plan for the more heavy weight (the things that will impact you the most) things first.
Slender girls will always be in fashion. My girlfriend is slim and monitors her diet. I'm only attracted to slender girls, so I started chatting with a girl from the https://ladadate.com/ladies/slim-body site. Later we got close and started dating. My ex-girlfriend gained weight and I dumped her. It was a stupid thing to do, but she had to watch herself.
